Project Three

The first time I met with these clients it was obvious that they shared a love of plants and very much enjoyed their garden as well as the allotment. The garden already contained some established plants as well as a pond, greenhouse and raspberry bed. The problems were that the existing patio was too small, the garden lacked structure and was also very exposed being south facing and backing onto fields. I decided to divide the garden into three areas. The patio, pergola and raised herb beds are close to the house, the central lawn, borders and path comprised the mid section of the garden with the final section of the garden reached via a pergola walkway has a deck overlooking the pond, a circular lawn and borders filled with colour and texture.
